Resource Efficient Cleaner Production or RECP
RECP is a systematic approach which is applied to processes, products and services to increase efficiency and reduce risks to humans and the environment and invariably reduce operating costs! It evolved in the mid 90s and since then has been increasingly adopted globally by organizations of all sizes and in all sectors.
We use this approach to focus on specific aspects or in an integrated manner as required by our clients. The main aspects we cover under this approach are
- Energy Management
- Water Management
- Waste Management
- Zero Discharge Of Hazardous Chemicals
- Carbon Footprint Assessment And Reduction
We also use this approach for delivering Perform, Achieve and Trade (PAT) cycle service. PAT is a market based scheme launched by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) in 2012 to improve the energy efficiency in large energy intensive industries called Designated Consumers (DCs) through a mechanism of assigning energy saving targets which upon getting achieved can be monetized and traded in form of Energy Saving Certificates or ESCerts. Under the PAT scheme, reductions in specific energy saving targets are assigned to DCs for a three year cycle. Baseline data collection before start of the cycle and verification of the performance of DC against the target at the end of the cycle is carried out by certified energy professionals empanelled with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).Our comprehensive solution for PAT clients is delivered in three phases and we provide technical support and advisory services for a complete PAT cycle.
